Taking A Ride For Sleepy Time !

When it comes to sleeping time, everyone knows that taking your baby for a ride in the car is the best, babies just love it, they are mesmerised and just nod off blissfully.  Well this is the next best alternative for anyone that does not have a car.  My baby YoYo Zen pram is fabulous, I just need to drop the handle bar down, put baby K on top of the pram cover and just drive her around my flat, she just loves it and its a great prelude for her falling asleep.  Of course I always pick her up and she falls asleep in my arms, I think that’s the best ” mummy time ” ever.

Organic Nappies and Baby Wipes

With baby K’s nappy care, all I have ever used  since she was born are organic and natural nappies and baby wipes and so far no rashes or nasty surprises. She is comfortable and happy and has not had any reactions or sensitivity. I am sure this has been a contributing factor for her calmness so far as her body does not have to deal with excess chemicals and toxic matter that is in your regular run of the mill nappies. The organic nappies and wipes are slightly more expensive, but I feel this is worth it if it means she can have extra comfort and her skin can breathe naturally and not clog up.
Not only because it gives baby K, a happy and healthy start in life, but I also see the wider picture and want to play my part in taking responsibility for protecting our environment so I go the extra lengths to not use products that are not environmentally friendly.
I also feel strongly that using environmentally friendly products is contributing to a better life for our children and grandchildren.

Are Vaccine Jabs Toxic ?

Week 8 is here, and I am taking baby K to the GP for the routine eight-week check.
When booking the appointment, I was told that straight after the GP check, baby would need to go to the nurse for her first set of immunisations.  There is no choice in the matter; it is compulsory for babies to get their immunisations.

However, my worry is that she is so small how will her little body be able to deal with all these injections and toxic material injected into her?  I am left wondering,pexels-photo-325690.jpeg how do we know that these injections are safe and can their little bodies cope with all this toxic matter at such a young and vulnerable age?  Do many people question this or do they just accept this is the norm because we are told that it is essential for the baby to have these vaccinations ?

I ended up talking to so many people who did not allow their children to have vaccinations, they all reported that their children have never become ill with these ailments or any ailments which are familiar to children.  In fact, a homeopath I know told me that the best immunity for the baby is breastfeeding.  I recall this being discussed at the NCT class and the hospital that breastfeeding, if you can manage it is the best for baby.

So I asked myself, is it not better to support a baby’s immune system naturally by breastfeeding, all babies know instinctively where to go for mother’s milk, and that’s the only thing babies want once they are born.

As it so happens in nature, mothers milk is the best for supporting baby’s immune system, as it contains all of the mother’s antibodies and nutrients from breast milk, the baby naturally strengthens their immune system.
